well it is good to know about the past because often the past repeats itself
why should I bother studying literature?
well I sometimes like reading a good book like the illiad where iIcan picture it like a movie and yet it is so much better because it doesn't skip anything and the detail in it makes me feel like I'm the one throwing the stone at the chariot driver! But really reading books is up to you to decied if it is important to you.
what is the point in language arts?
well i do think it is very important to write I really don't care about what books you've read but the better you can write now that's what I Believe set's the difference between an educated person and a not educated person or between the degrees of their education.
why should I bother with geography?
well i do believe it is important to know where things are in the world because it also explains why country's do some of the things that they do.

Dude, I din't see some things that way. Throwing the stone at the chariot driver, nice! And that's a good point, reading's importance is decided by you. Because, if you don't think your Socratic reading homework isn't important, you won't enjoy it and you'll fell like you're time.
